Hesitant to depart from the prevailing attitude of conformity, the committee has remained within the influence of the previous administration throughout 2025. Releasing such a report could have demonstrated that party leaders truly desire to promote public discourse about the strategic failures that enabled the former president to become president again. Yet, the leadership is moving forward as if there's nothing to understand following the tragic debacle of 2024.
"Here’s our North Star: does this help us win? If the answer is no, it becomes a sideline issue from our fundamental goal," an explanation that has been offered to justify concealing the report.
